Hamleys toy store opens in Birmingham!

Birmingham is to see a return of Hamleys!

The traditional toy store is loved by millions of people around the world and is often a must-see on family day trips to London.

In fact, we’ve listed it as one of the five stores we’d love to come to Birmingham in May, and it looks like wishes are really coming true.

Because we felt we were really missing an old fashioned giant toy store like Hamleys that turns adults into children again.

But now it’s our turn to have a store – and we’re over the moon!

When and where does the Hamleys toy store open?

It will open at Resorts World on Friday, October 21 to coincide with Resort World’s first anniversary.

“We are delighted to announce the opening of the world-renowned Hamleys toy store at Resorts World Birmingham,” said Ian Bennett, Director of Operations for Resorts World Birmingham.

“The store will be the perfect complement to our already strong family offering. “

What will there be?

Hamleys at RWB will be packed with the latest gadgets as well as all the traditional toys you would expect from the classic store.

We had a Hamleys in Upper Bull Street, Birmingham in the 1980s, but since then our closest Hamleys has been London.

Now we’ll have one right on our doorstep, and we really feel like kids at Christmas!

So, will the prices be cheaper than at Resorts World?

This store will have all the excitement and sparkle of other Hamleys stores – but with the added bonus of outlet prices.

This means there will be additional discounts on toys, saving you a bit of cash this Christmas, or maybe just giving the kids even more!

Why is Hamleys so special?

Hamleys was founded in 1760 by William Hamley, a man who dreamed of creating the best toy store in the world.

His vision has continued for over 250 years, passing through generations of employees to create a brand people around the world know, love and trust.

And now it’s opening in the West Midlands – see you soon!
