Sweet Suite is every child’s dream: toys of all kinds, sizes and uses come together in one room, with the event showcasing the country’s latest creations for children.
Attendees, including influencers — people who can make or break a toy — take a closer look at the coolest new toys, collectibles, and video games.
This year, the focus is on virtual and educational experiences. Many toymakers have been inspired by the state of affairs.
“The pandemic has had a huge effect on the toy industry in how people play,” said Ali Mierzejewski, editor of The Toy Insider.
This year there are more interactive toys, which could serve as a learning experience for children.
Mile Rizkalla has worked in the toy industry for over 20 years and has children of his own. His latest invention, Snorble, aims to help children sleep.
“We brought the anime character to life to inspire children’s minds by giving them things that will improve their lives,” Rizkalla said.
“Social and emotional learning – it’s a huge trend in the toy industry, especially post-pandemic,” Mierzejewski said. “We are all stressed and children are stressed too, and they need to recognize their emotions, to calm down.”
Snorble and other products will be available during the holiday season.
