Toy Shop UK reveals the winners of its 2020 Independent Toy Awards – ToyNews

Toy Shop UK has unveiled the winners of its 13th Annual Independent Toy Awards, highlighting products that the UK’s independent toy retail scene believes will be the best choices for parents this Christmas.

Medal logos were awarded in 30 categories, with gold, silver and bronze awards. Additionally, logos of distinction were awarded to companies that narrowly missed out on a top three award.

The impartiality of Toy Shop UK has allowed them to create a unique rewards process in the industry. By asking the more than 900 independent retailers who list their businesses in the directory what they think are the best toys in each category, the winners are “revealed” rather than “selected” as the votes cast.

Michael Hawkins, Founder of Toy Shop UK: “This year’s winning toy list features a truly diverse mix of products that I think perfectly reflect the life, character and sometimes the eclectic nature of the independent toy retailers who bring so much. to this industry.
