Toy store The Entertainer’s Afghanistan support

TOY shop The Entertainer partners with charity to support Afghanistan Appeal.

The UK’s largest family-friendly toy retailer, with branches in Workington and Carlisle, will be supporting Christian Aid Afghanistan’s appeal over the coming weeks.

The company hopes to raise thousands of pounds for the charity, while encouraging families across the UK to learn more about the current landscape in Afghanistan.

Founder and Executive Chairman of The Entertainer Gary Grant has already donated £25,000 to the appeal through The Grant Foundation and is calling on The Entertainer customers to join the campaign.

The facilitator will invite families to pick up coloring sheets from their local store or download them online, which contain child-friendly information about ongoing efforts in Afghanistan to support displaced families.

For every coloring sheet submitted in-store or on The Entertainer’s Facebook page using the hashtag #TheEntertainerAppeal, The Entertainer will donate £1* to Christian Aid in support of the appeal for Afghans.

All donations will help provide families across Afghanistan with emergency food, shelter and blankets.

The call will run from January 6-23 and coloring sheets can be picked up in store or downloaded online at https://www.Visit thetoyshop.com/boredom-busting-hub
